Marc J. Coderre has a degree in both Common Law (Ontario) and Civil Law (Quebec). He has been a practicing lawyer since 1987.

He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario) and therefore practices law in Ontario. Marc Coderre specializes in the field of Family Law and offers services in the areas of Real Estate and Estate (Wills and Powers of Attorney).

In addition to his practice, Marc Coderre taught Family Law at local Community Colleges and the University of Ottawa. He has participated, as an instructor, in the annual Family Law Bar Admission Courses conducted by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

The following services are offered free of charge from our office with no obligation:

For private transactions, our office will prepare Agreements of Purchase and Sale for a fee of $200.00 plus G.S.T.

Flat Rate Transaction Fees

  Purchase of a re-sale home in the Ottawa Region:   $ 1,259.00 plus G.S.T.
Purchase of a new construction in the Ottawa Region: $1,259.00 plus G.S.T.
Purchase of a condominium* in the Ottawa Region: $1,359.00 plus G.S.T.
   (*includes obtaining and reviewing Status Certificate)
Sale of a home in the Ottawa region: $789.00 plus G.S.T.
Refinance of a home in the Ottawa Region (traditional lenders) * $869.00 plus G.S.T.

Our prices include all fees and disbursements associated with the completion of the transaction (such as title search, title insurance and registration costs) with the exception of:

Land Transfer Tax on purchases; and
condominium status certificates (if applicable).

*Please note that in some exceptional circumstances, our fees for a complex refinance may exceed $869.00 plus G.S.T. Those circumstances would be discussed with the client and agreed to ahead of time.

Our prices are based on residential real estate transactions only. Contact our office to determine our fees for commercial and income property transactions.
