REFINANCE TRANSACTION INFORMATION

What the client does:

• Arrange mortgage loan and advise the lender to send all mortgage instructions to our office;
• The client makes all arrangements directly with the lender regarding frequency and mode of payment;
• Make inquiries regarding the balance of your current mortgage. Determine, with your bank, the penalties, administration fees, discharge fees, etc., that will be charged;
• Provide us with a copy of your most recent tax bill;
• Contact your insurance broker for your fire insurance and have the insurer or broker fax an insurance binder to our office;

What our office does:

• Prepare the necessary mortgage documents;
• Obtain sub-search of title;
• Obtain payout statement from the current lender;
• Obtain title insurance, if applicable;
• Meet with you for final signatures.

APPOINTMENT FOR SIGNATURES AND CLOSING DAY

Our office will contact you before the transaction date to make arrangements for an appointment to review your file and sign your final documents.
